Films: Night of the Creeps (1986)
Alias: None
Type: Alien
Location: Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of average slugs.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: Most people think that shooting a zombie in the head will be the end of your problems. Not here. If that's your master plan, you'd best bring a flamethrower too...
History: Somewhere in space, a psychotic alien manages to shoot a canister of deadly parasites into the cosmos. Predictably, it lands on Earth. It is a collection of slug-like creatures that infect anyone they orally bury into, and turn them into bloodthirsty zombies.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: Eventually, most of the zombified people are led into a sorority house, which is then blown up, killing just about every Creep. One does live though, but an extended ending shows that the aliens have come to set right what once went wrong...
Powers/Abilities: Creeps can control any living host, and they breed rapidly while doing so. If the body dies, then they all leave out of whatever hole they can find.
Weakness: Anything conventional, though fire works best.
Scariness Factor: 4-You remember those slug-like parasites from "Shivers"? Imagine if they came in the hundreds, and if you were fortunate enough to kill their host, they burst out violently and infected you? It doesn't help that they’re deceptively fast.
Trivia: -The film "Zombie Town" got inexplicably marketed as a sequel to this film in Germany.
-Director Fred Dekker openly states that he was determined to throw every b-movie cliché into this film. He even wanted to make the whole thing black and white.
